Privacy Policy

The short version
Reachily reads LinkedIn profiles you are already looking at, sends that content to an AI provider to generate an insight, and stores the result in your account so you can come back to it. We never receive your LinkedIn password, the extension only runs on linkedin.com, we run no advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we do not sell your data.
One thing we want to be direct about: generating an insight requires sending profile content to our servers and on to our AI provider. It is encrypted in transit, but it is not end-to-end encrypted, because the service has to be able to read the content in order to analyze it.
1. Scope
This policy covers the Reachily website and dashboard, the Reachily Chrome extension, and the Reachily API. It explains what personal data we handle, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to you whether you use the free plan or a paid one.
2. What we collect
Account information
You sign in with Google. From that sign-in we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture URL. We never receive your Google password, and we do not create or store a separate password for you.
Your own LinkedIn profile
You link your own LinkedIn profile once, so that insights can be scored relative to your background rather than in the abstract. We store the profile content the extension reads from your own profile page for that purpose.
Profiles you choose to analyze
When you ask the extension to analyze a LinkedIn profile, it reads the content that is visible to you on that page and sends it to us. Depending on the profile, that can include name, headline, location, the about section, work experience, education, skills, interests, certifications, recommendations, recent activity, featured items, mutual connections, and the profile image. We store this so the resulting insight has context and so the contact appears in your dashboard.
When you ask for a comment on a post, the extension reads that post's text. When you use Quick Reply in a conversation, it reads the most recent messages in that conversation so the suggested reply makes sense in context.
Content you create
Notes you write on a contact, follow-up reminders you set, and the networking goals you select or type.
Usage records
We record which AI actions you take and when, so we can enforce the limits attached to your plan. We also keep standard server logs.
Billing information
Payments are handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan, its status, and its renewal dates. We never see or store your card number.
Team and organization data
If you use a shared workspace, we store the organization name, its members and their roles, pending invitations including the invited email address, and the API credentials issued to that workspace.
3. What we do not do
- We never ask for, receive, or store your LinkedIn password. Reachily does not log in to LinkedIn.
- The extension's content script runs only on linkedin.com. It has no visibility into the rest of your browsing.
- We do not send messages, connection requests, or comments on your behalf. Reachily produces drafts; you review, edit, and send them yourself.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- We run no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no marketing pixels on this site.
One exception worth naming explicitly: the extension includes an unfollow button on feed posts. If you click it, your browser calls LinkedIn directly to unfollow that person. That action is initiated by you, and nothing about it is sent to Reachily.
4. How we use what we collect
- To generate insights, scores, drafts, replies, and translations you request.
- To keep your contacts, notes, and reminders available in your dashboard.
- To notify you of due follow-ups through the extension badge and dashboard.
- To apply and enforce the limits of your plan.
- To take payment and manage your subscription.
- To operate, debug, secure, and improve the service.
- To reply to you when you contact support.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of our contract with you for providing the service, our legitimate interests in securing and improving it, and compliance with legal obligations for records such as invoices.
5. AI processing
Insights, comments, messages, replies, and translations are produced by a third-party large language model provider. To produce them, we send the relevant content to that provider. That means the profile content you asked us to analyze, the post or conversation text where applicable, and the goal you selected.
AI output is generated, not verified. Scores are estimates, and drafts can be wrong or awkward. Read anything before you send it.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Google — authentication, when you sign in.
- OpenAI — generating insights, comments, messages, replies, and translations.
- Stripe — payments and subscription management.
- Our hosting and database providers — running the application and storing your data.
We may also disclose data if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights, safety, or the integrity of the service. If Reachily is ever acquired or merged, data may transfer as part of that transaction, and we will say so before it takes effect.
7. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and to let the extension recognize that you are signed in to Reachily. That cookie is strictly necessary for the service to work. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics.
8. How long we keep it
Contacts, insights, notes, and reminders are kept while your account exists, so that your research stays available to you. Delete a contact and its insight and notes are deleted with it. Usage records are kept as needed to enforce plan limits and for our own accounting. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data except where we are legally required to retain it.
9. Your rights and choices
What you can do yourself, right now
Open any contact in your dashboard and delete it. That removes the contact along with its insight and your notes. You can also change or clear your default networking goal at any time in settings.
What to email us for
Self-service export and account deletion are not yet available in the dashboard. Until they are, email us at support@reachily.io and we will export or delete your data for you.
Your legal rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to how we process it, and withdraw consent where we relied on it. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these, email support@reachily.io.
10. A note about other people's data
When you analyze a profile, you are asking us to process another person's information. You are responsible for having a legitimate reason to do so and for using the result appropriately. Do not use Reachily to build lists for spam, to harass anyone, or for any purpose that would breach LinkedIn's terms or the law where you operate. If someone asks us to remove information about them that you introduced, we may contact you about it.
11. International transfers
We and our providers may process and store data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
12. Security
Traffic between your browser, the extension, and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is limited to people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but if a breach affects your data we will notify you and any regulator as required.
13. Children
Reachily is a professional tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will tell you before it takes effect.
15. Contact
Questions about privacy, or a request about your data, go to support@reachily.io. Our Terms of Service cover the rest of the relationship.
